WOW...what a busy couple of weeks, and very exciting. Based on my initial results, I decided to jump in with both feet and go for it. A decision that was nohttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gift made lightly. It required me to invest in my future...but not only financially, but my time and a major personal commitment.
Now, do not get me wrong. It was not all roses and games. There were times when I started to second guess my decision as things were not going smoothly. What I made myself do was to make a personal commitment that not matter what, I would not quit for the next year. As I have heard and read over the past month..."I am the variable. If something is not working, I can change, I can make it better." This has been something that I wrote and is sitting right beside me everyday.
Getting through this is certainly making the high points a lot higher. I am working the system that was presented to me and with the personalized marketing plan my coach and I set for me, I am on a positive track to make the change that I want. With the help of Karen, my coach, I have already made more sales and am currently working on sponsoring a few people onto my team. The best part of all this...I did not have to make any cold calls or talk to any of my friends or family to do it. Of course if they ask me, I will tell them about everything I have as I want to make sure they are healthy to stay around for a long time to come.
In the past two weeks, I have already recouped a quarter of my initial investment. This is very promising as I do not know of any business that you can receive a return this fast.

Faith and my Online Business System
As you have been reading, I recently joined a MLM and am feeling really good about my decision. I have only been in business for a week or so and have already made enough sales to recoup my initial investment.
The other day I was at a church group meeting and people that knew I was looking into an online business system asked how my search was going. They were very pleased that I had found something and that it was starting off so positively. Then one person asked me would I have a moral problem as a Christian being involved in an MLM. I was taken back a bit by this. Then he asked if I was comfortable with the fact that I need to “steal” peoples’ money in order for me to succeed. Obviously I defended my morals, ethic and my business to him. I explained that I am not the type of person that would try to convince someone that they needed my products or online system if they truly did not want it. And that was the end of the conversation.
This question really got me to start thinking about how I was brought in, how the system and my coach could be seen as this, and am I going to have to alter my beliefs to succeed in this business. After pondering over this and a little prayer, I decided to talk with my coach about it. WOW, was I surprised at the answer I got back. Turns out that Karen and her family are Christians as well. Her children attend a Christian school where she volunteers when she can, and this business allows her to do quite often. She asked me if she ever made me feel pressured into pursuing this business or that I was annoying her with my questions….my answer was no. When I talked to the people about the products that I have sold, did I force them to buy…again no, actually they asked me to sell to them. Then she gave me some more information that astounded me.
She and her husband have dedicated a certain amount every month to sponsor three children in a third world country. They were not able to do this before start their online business. Eventually they plan on doing more once their business grows. She told me that she has aspirations to do what her coaches have done. First she told me that they also are Christians and are very much into living their lives accordingly which means they are truthful in their business dealings. They collectively dedicated enough money personally to not only sponsor, but to go over and dig wells in Africa. WOW.
Now I know that some of you are saying “Shows that only those at the top of MLM’s make the money.” You know what, in a sense that is true. The difference is in how they are making it and why they are making it. These two guys have made their money because they work hard and smart, and by also doing their business ethically. The only way they succeed is if their people succeed, so they will do everything they can to make sure this happens. Even though they are near the top, does not mean they can sit back and watch the world go around, they still have to work hard. So, they succeed if Karen succeeds, and Karen succeeds if I succeed, and I will succeed if the people I introduce to the business succeed. This means for me, that I am going to do everything that I can to teach my people how to do their business and obtain all their goals they have set out for themselves.
One other thing I would like to say. Near the end of our phone conversation, Karen asked me to hold on. She three wayed her coach Glen (one of the guys who dug the wells) in and we had a great conversation. It was a great feeling to know that I have all these people with MY best interests at heart while we are doing this awesome business. I know that my Christian morals are safe with Online Business Systems, and know that I will be helping others obtain their goals and dreams along the way. Helping others without compromising my ethics, what could be better?

Decision Made - Online Business Systems Wins
For those that have been wondering, I have made my business decision. Online Business Systems ( OBS ) is the choice that I made. Main reason for my decision is the fact that I really like that fact that I am going to have a personal business coach - as well as access to her coaches.
Karen called me to let me know that my order was processed on Thursday. I received my package on Friday and was able to go over it that night. Karen called me on Saturday and I was able to ask her all the questions that I could think of. I will tell you what I needed to know at the end. She was able to answer all of them to my satisfaction without hesitation. I was also able to check out more of the company while I was talking with her online which impressed me further. I made the decision to start right away. She told me that I would receive my start up package Monday or Tuesday and that we will go over it once it gets to me.
Later on Saturday I was speaking with my brother who is an Parametic and he told me that he has heard about the company and wanted to take a look and order some product from me. Not even in business and made sale number one. While we spoke, we determined that some of the products would really help our father with his age related ailments. Move on to Sunday. Went to church in the morning and was speaking with our Pastor (he was concerned about my recent lack of work), he also has heard of the product as he was once on them. He wanted to get back on them as well as check out what is new...sale number two. I am so looking forward to the next week when I am actually set up to do business properly.
I received my starting business kit by lunch time today, and called Karen right away. We have moved our appointment to tonight. I also told her about the weekend, and we will be putting these orders together tonight...I am so excited about this opportunity. Update on My Online Business System Search
WOW...What a day filled with discovery and excitement.
From reading yesterday, I was down to four companies that I was looking into. A little bit deeper searching, and was down to two. Both of these are MLM, and both seem to be solid in their markets. They have totally different product lines which make them appealing to me. I did check them both out on the BBB website ( BBB Main page ) and found that they had really high ratings and are accredited businesses.
I have decided to delve into each one further by accepting their offers to receive a package that will enable me to complete my decision. Online Business Systems ( View OBS Here ) offers a Decision Package sent to you for only the shipping charge of $9.95. I will have 15 days to review it before I will need to pay the full price for the package - which is more than enough time for me. What I really found impressive is that within a few hours of me placing my order, I received a call from my "Personal Business Coach" who told me that my order was processed and my package is on its way. We also set up an appointment for Saturday to review the business and to answer any question I might have regarding setting up my business. The other company ACN ( View ACN Here ), is also providing a package that will tell me more about the business and how they operate. I have not yet heard anything from them. Online Business Systems ( also known as Incomeathome ) is in the lead at this point.

Search for an Online Business System
I am writing this in hopes that it will help others like me that are looking for a better way to make a living in these economical times. I have been in construction / renovation / contracting many years now. However in the past year, I have seen the jobs become less and my "friends" in the business who mainly dealt with high priced contracts, have had to dropped their prices, job sizes, and what jobs they are willing to accept just to stay in business. This has meant that we are now competing for the same contract, and as such, I have been losing more and more business.
With this said, I have been looking for a different way to support our family of four active children. After many years of long hours and long weeks, I thought that an online business would be something that I would enjoy. If I could earn an incomeathome, then I could be around for my family when they needed me and I would not miss anymore of their sports, school activities and what is left of their childhood years.
I started searching the internet and was actually disguested with all the negativitiy that is out there. Someone has something negative to say about every possible opportunity that is available. I decided to ignore almost all of this, and come up with a way that I could pick out what is best for me and my family. I came up with the same type of system I use for renovating...start from the surface, work down to the frame, and rework it back out. So I found ten (10) businesses that I liked the look of. As soon as I initiated my search, six of them were were taken off my list due to irregularities in what they first said and what I saw right away. This was an easy scratch. I am currently looking into the other four and am going to be checking into them today. Something that I plan on doing, is checking in with the BBB on these companies. This is not a sure fire thing, however I believe in the system and trust what they have to say. I am using this BBB Ratings to see what the rating system is, as well as BBB Accreditation to tell me even more. I used this as one company, Online Business System ( OBS ) seems to have a great rating and need to find out what it all means. I will fill you all in later when I find out.
This is where I stand now....Four to look into and a decision to be made in the next day or so. Will tell you other finds later.
